The Site

The site is located north of the railway line, to the west of Pentir Y De, and south of Porthkerry Road in Rhoose, Vale of Glamorgan. Given its location, it’s a natural extension to the residential area to the west of the site, which has been allocated for housing by the local planning authority for over 20 years.

Efforts will also be undertaken to keep much green space, retain trees and hedgerows where possible, and have an attenuation pond. Much effort has been undertaken to ensure that works on the site would not increase the risk of flooding and would alleviate existing causes of flooding.

The scheme will provide a mix of house types and tenures, including affordable housing for the area, with a view to commencing groundworks in Spring 2025 and the first homes being available in time for Christmas that year if planning permission is forthcoming in January.
